Trifluoromethane, also known as R23, is a colorless, slightly odorous, non-conductive gas, and is an ideal substitute for halogenated alkanes. Used as a low-temperature (-100°C) refrigerant, plasma chemical etchant in the electronics industry, and a raw material for fluorine organic compounds.

PPLICATION SCOPE

Trifluoromethane R-23 is a widely used ultra-low temperature refrigerant. Due to the good comprehensive performance of HFC-23, it becomes a very effective and safe CFC-13 (R13, R-13, Freon 13, Freon 13) and R-503 substitutes are mainly used in environmental test chambers/equipment (cold and heat shock tester), freeze dryers/freeze dryers, ultra-low temperature refrigerators or freezers, blood bank refrigerators, biochemical test chambers and other cryogenic equipment (including scientific research Refrigeration, medical refrigeration, etc.), which are often used in low-temperature grades of these cascade refrigeration systems. Trifluoromethane can also be used as a gas fire extinguishing agent. It is an ideal substitute for Halon 1301.
